All of these song have some relevance to a particular moment in my life. Some of them were paticularly dark moments and a simple song helped me get through it. The sad thing is that I'm actually worried I've forgotten one that was really important to me.
Ahh... the gray hairs are getting to me.
Besides, something tells me, the longer I live, the longer this list is gonna get.

So, if you could pick any songs from the soundtrack of your life, what would they be? Which songs or artists got you through the dark patches in your life?
If you had to boil your life down to just one song, could you do it?
Um, no. My current "songs I really dig" playlist has 400 songs in it. Boiling it down to one for my entire life is impossible. If you asked me about the big moments in my life I would say yes. When I graduated from High School it was probably "One Headlight" by The Wallflowers. When I got married the song was "If you're not the one" by Daniel Beddingfield. I could go on, but I won't bore you :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh... this is too cool, Anthony. What a fun concept! Love your list--all classics. Gosh, one song for me? It'd probably be the main theme of Swan Lake, actually. Though I definitely could list more for different occasions! :D
ReplyDeleteI don't think I could boil mine down to one, but I LOVE that you've made a playlist for yours. And great songs on it too!!!
ReplyDeleteNow you seriously have my mind spinning about it all and I'm going to be thinking about "my songs!"
